Infographic: Five interesting facts about anime
For this weeks class we were assigned our infographic projects. So what I wanted to do to follow the theme of anime was to create 4 interested facts about anime. With the color scheme I wanted to follow the same way my blog is set up.
So I went with black, gray and blue. With the white on black letter scheme. This project once again is a reflection of my interest and it was mention in my first blog post. Anime is just an amazing form of art and I think more and more people should read or watch it.
With the visuals within this infographic, including some familiar anime characters was the goal. I feel like I may need one or two more images to make it all come together. I'm very excited on doing this because I think most people should at least try to watch anime. There are manga's as well which are textual animated books. Anime is such a huge world, go and explore it.
As this draft is a work in progress, I plan on updating this sometime this week. Stay tuned peace.
Update: I decided to finally just add an last image of pikachu on the third fact about anime. I wanted to make sure the images correlated to the facts that are shown in boxes. Once again I wanted to use characters that most people would recognize. Also, I kept the color scheme of my final draft because it resembles the same theme I have on my blog.

Your infographic definitely looks sick. I think the faded blue looks cool against the glow of the anime characters images and it flows well down the page. The only big thing that I would suggest to help improve the symmetry and flow of the infographic would be just combine the two text squares at the bottom and make it one. Other than that, keep up the good work man!

I am slowly starting to get into anime! I work at Hot Topic and literally almost every one of my coworkers watch it! I am a huge fan of Sailor Moon and I recently just got into watching My Hero Academia. I have seen Dragon Ball here and there, but I have mostly just seen Dragon Ball Z Kai on Nicktoons. Anime is really popular and is still growing! I liked how you have incorporated the most popular animes in your infographic! I cannot wait to see the final draft for this!

Your color scheme fits really well with your blog, the transparent blue is a nice way to add color without it being super in-your-face.
I think that I may just decide to explore anime more than I have before, I could see myself getting into manga's because I enjoy reading.
I also think the ideas everyone suggested for your corpus analysis were really cool and I can’t wait to see where you go with it!

ReplyDeleteAs i continue to believe I am the #1 fan of your blog within the class, your work with this infographic continues to impress. I love the topic of Anime, and I feel like if you play your cards right, the Corpus Analysis idea will come to you. I thoroughly think that infographic itself screams "Me!" and it makes for a beautiful transition when moving from the homepage of your blog, to seeing this post.
With that, we discussed some of the design flaws with the infographic. The content is incredible, but matching the content's information to the design seemed to be a little out of place. Some of the boxes were misaligned with the content, and some of your pictures acted half as a background/halfway in foreground view.
i look forward to your future work, and can't wait to see where you take this Anime project.
